      It really irritates me that gnomes are portrait as mechanics and tinkerers. For me gnomes are a representation of nature. Little earth spirits, looking for animals and up for some mischief. I am just wondering where all that technical stuff is coming from?

          Warcraft made it really popular though and that was the first thing I saw it. And Warcraft is heavily inspired by table top rpgs, especially D&D.
