I like how effortless they look. Almost like speedpaintings but with enough atmosphere and mood to appear believable. Also I love how they resemble small dioramas

It's really both. The limited colors work so well, perfect choices. The drawing style is cute and effective. I like the left sprite is making their own light in the dark. I like that the one on the right has a sense of freedom, being able to stand firmly above the ground.

Personally, the color palettes are always really well thought out, and I find a story in these illustrations that feel very lighthearted and mysterious.

Hey Erin. Huge thanks for your comment! The colors are predefined palettes from Adobe color. I selected them to explore, what I can do with them. The story-aspect makes me really happy
