Overall thats my problem...I have a rough idea... like, snowmen (came to live somehow, bc of magic or whatsoever) and have snowball fights with little funny kids. Then I have ideas for scenes in mind, which could be cool.. "the end" 
Really that's how most of my writing goes - usually after I've written down the different scenes my mind naturally starts to connect them and that ends up being some of the work I enjoy the most. I 100 percent believe that you can do it!!
ah ok! Yeah, that makes sense! Thank you!! :) Actually, a few days ago I told my little daughter a short story about kids and snowmen. I was surprised, how easily I told her something storylike, I even havn´t thought about few mins before. As you said, the mind connects stuff
