That's okay. I'm still half a year away from completing my master's degree in creative writing anyway. Slowly on the way to becoming a somewhat competent editor

I'm writing a proper novel, so there's that. And several short stories for assignments. Though I haven't published anything yet except this one story in my university magazine that no one read.
I hope, at least a few people read the one published story. Would be sad otherwise. :) The short story part would be something interesting for me. Do you have any advice, how to write down a story, if you only have fragments of an idea and a certain mood in mind?
