I stopped trying to predict what twitter likes these days 
you can never tell anymore
Exactly... Twitter often feels like a simulation game. You try things and you never know, how the mass reacts. 
The follower numbers are the level up factor.

Heck even with large followers it still doesn’t exactly equate with larger interactions sometimes
so it’s a confusing game -
It sometimes reminds me of these old Sim City games. The popluation grew for some reason. If you then did something additionally good for them, they moved into an other city, peeps were mad and the Population number decreased.
