I should practice human faces and expressions way more. My current task for a client drives me crazy 
I often see male and female characters with neutral faces here on my TL. How do you approach expressions like crazy smiles, pokerfaces, angry faces or whatsoever?

Hmm, I'd say using references for those can really help.
@SHelmigh has a lot of great ref packs for those cases. Otherwise maybe looking for extreme cases perhaps from films and study those? But my non-drawing-person advice would be: references :)

Do the raven/swamp study approach but with faces
Also spaßigere Zusatzübung könnte man sich einige random Adjekte/Gefühlslagen raussuchen und entsprechend versuchen die Mimik dazu zu skizzieren, bisschen so wie bei den six fan arts Teilen, nur eben zufällige Gefühle
