I should practice human faces and expressions way more. My current task for a client drives me crazy 
I often see male and female characters with neutral faces here on my TL. How do you approach expressions like crazy smiles, pokerfaces, angry faces or whatsoever?

Expressions are all in the eyebrows, eyes, and mouth, so you should focus your efforts there. Also, the more cartoonish of a look you want, the more you should apply the squash and stretch rules from animation (:
That are exactly the areas I have the most problems with.

Ah yeah I'm having the same problem translating my face knowledge to animals rn XD I know they have eyes and mouths and stuff but the shape is soooo different from what I normal do that I have to like, re learn the face map completely XD
