I should practice human faces and expressions way more. My current task for a client drives me crazy
I often see male and female characters with neutral faces here on my TL. How do you approach expressions like crazy smiles, pokerfaces, angry faces or whatsoever?

I took pics of myself for reference, because it's so hard to find ones with the exact expression and pose that you want. Then I modify it to look more like the character and less like me. Just as long as the placement of the eyes, mouth and nose were accurate.pic.twitter.com/zfOu699Bgl
