I should practice human faces and expressions way more. My current task for a client drives me crazy
I often see male and female characters with neutral faces here on my TL. How do you approach expressions like crazy smiles, pokerfaces, angry faces or whatsoever?

hmm, on the contrary i find presenting subtle expressions more challenging. but if you are looking expressions, id suggest taking screenshots from movies and tv shows or look at pinterest for refs.

Thank you ...oh really? I personally think, neutral faces are often really symmetrical, while having crazy smiling pokerface expressions or a really angry one needs you to understand how skin, muscles and all these little wrinkles work on top of a skull... challenging

but im not talking about neutral. im talking about a hint of emotion that's more of a blink and miss type. i really find it challenging to get them right and love practicing them.

ah got it! I´m glad I don´t have to do this ... on such faces just a wrong line here or a wrong placed light or shadow there can destroy a lot.
