I should practice human faces and expressions way more. My current task for a client drives me crazy 
I often see male and female characters with neutral faces here on my TL. How do you approach expressions like crazy smiles, pokerfaces, angry faces or whatsoever?

Like everyone else mirrors and photos help, but so do movie/tv stills!
Thank you!! I tried Mirrors and photos. But at the moment all I get are mask-like faces :) I really have to analyze, what causes this problem. I´m to rusty, because it´s been years ago since I drew faces a lot

Yeah its surprisingly hard! I find the eyes contribute a lot to if it feels alive and organic, it's a subtlety that's hard to catch though ><

Oh yeah, the eyes... I agree! I have no idea, how many version I already drew on the one face I have to do right now :D
