I should practice human faces and expressions way more. My current task for a client drives me crazy 
I often see male and female characters with neutral faces here on my TL. How do you approach expressions like crazy smiles, pokerfaces, angry faces or whatsoever?

I either use a mirror or I set up my web-cam and take some pictures of me making the face I want
Thank you... yeah, It tired mirror already :) but the outcome often looks like a mask :D

WOW thank you a lot Zack! Super helpful!! Some of the references are close to what I have to do right now :) At least in terms of rendering style. But the expressions refs are cool as well
