Some quick doodles while having a little drawing session with my daughter. I experimented with different symbols, shapes and colors. Colors are done with "cheap" color pens.

Thank you!! Yeah, I saw that too. At the beginning the hat and mask were more complex. The more I simplified the hat over time, the more similar to a shy guy it looked. Now with the colors it´s pretty obvious. And that just by accident.

Those are so cute Marcel! I've also been meaning to ask, what kind of pencil do you use for your sketches usually? I've been finding myself using a 6b and 4b a ton

Hey Ed, for sketching I usually use HB. For darker occlusion shadow areas I use 2B and sometimes higher like 3-6B. If I want to have a rough base sketch, I also use H or 2h. If you use them with low pressure, they are hard to see. Good for a more defined HB overpainting later
