I would love too see how it looks with colors! There must be some contrast and saturation stuff going on! I find it rly interesting And if it doesnt work for an evironment, I think it could rly work for a character design!

I already kinda set the mood for the thorn area. A cactus plant would look strange, somehow out of place. But I´m struggling with only using the thorns. Feels to generic. Thats why I tried the cactus. But if I add little plants, it quickly looks like an alienplanet. We will see..
