To tie into his spirit background: depending on the situation the spirit could use stuff around him to change an arm, get equip in a sense to overcome an obstacle, that way you could also use the other appearances you had in mind 
WOW.. danke Roman. Die ganze Zeit überlege ich, wie ich ihn gestalte. Irgendwie kamen mir noch Ketten in den Sinn, die ihn z.b. weit entferntere Stellen erreichen lassen etc. Aber deins ist natürlich ne extrem coole Richtung, ihn einfach je nach Notwendigkeit zu gestalten
