I like them! They're fun and helpful, and it's a way to show off my new artwork after I post it because I'm still too shy to retweet my own work <w<;
thanks for your thoughts!! Don´t be shy retweeting your work. Timing, luck, visibility etc. are tricky on twitter. It´s totally fine retweeting your work. I sometimes do it 1 or 2 times a day. Sometimes I wait a few days. You get also new followers, who haven´t seen older tweets
