Sometimes I listen to music while painting, but if I'm trying I don't. Milt Kahl, the best animator of our time once pointed out when asked, that he can only focus on one thing at a time. #art #music #focus #distraction

It really makes a difference. In such a workflow, I've never seen it as that rendering is just a "paint by numbers". It's not an easy part. You'll render better and faster :)
but without music it´s so silent 
Luckily both work for me. In the evenings, when my daugther needs to sleep, I can´t listen to music (don´t like to use headphones) And sometimes I´m surprised, what can be done in the short time I only have for personal art.
