Starting a new piece today and my goal is to spend more than my usual six or so hours on it I always want to finish a piece in one sitting, does anyone else find this? Else I worry I'll lose my flow

It depends on how many ideas I have in mind and how much freetime I have. If there are to many ideas and to less time, I wouldn't be patient enough spending days on one image. So I prefer to work fast and loose. Usually I work many days on one illustration for clients. Win win

That makes sense! I spend more than one sitting if it’s for a client too as I want best quality... Shame I don’t normally give myself the same courtesy
