I'd never heard of them either, got it as a hand-me-down and nearly died when I saw the price. Now I just like to boast about it sometimes as if I could afford that shit. ;)
But I wouldn't recommend working on such a chair for several hours a day for a longer time period. I did it years ago. And please believe me, it will be pretty bad for your back and health in general.
but yeah with such a chair your cozy home workspace is perfect!! 
yeah I saw the prices a few seconds ago as well. First impression was like : 
oh wow thats expensive. However.. your back can be lucky about it.
