Yup, it's kind of a bummer, at this point I still have no idea what you're supposed to do to get your work seen. So i just post mine, and well, just roll with whatever happen (usually nothing much). Worst being Behance. You're invisible, literally.

Your work have to be super good and you need some bigger accounts (industry pros) with thousands of follower. If they give your work a like, it´s more worth than than 50 or 100 likes by small accounts. Thats what I read about their ranking system. It´s frustrating.

Artstation is near impossible to garner a following, Twitter is a cake walk in comparison.

Yeah exactly!!

I kind of gave up on artstation. It feels like a private club where you can almost only get attention if you do semi-realistic hot girls or super detailed 3D monsters and stuff :/ at least that's what I always see featured on the front page

yeah. It´s their ranking system. You need a lot of likes to increase thevisibility in the trending section. But a few likes of bigger accounts with thousands of followers can have the same effect. But if you get lost in the mass of uploads, only bigger accounts could help.

IMO artstation is more for professional work and portofolio, while Twitter is something more casual and with the intention of connecting and sharing the process and the struggles behind the polished work we show on Artstation

Hey Justin, thats correct. It´s necessary to post high quality work there on a regular basis. But when you have work under NDA, it´s hard to do so. So you have to create lot´s of personal work on side to gain followers, which will help you to give your work more visibility

This^^ ArtStation makes an easy link to send to people rather than scrolling through your Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter feed to show off your best projects.
