Oh really? Do you know the name of the game? I'm a bit on a nostalgic trip. I played heretic back in the 90s a lot. I still kinda like the world an characters of it.

Yeah, the game is "Nightmare In The Dark" and I've played it back when I just a little kid & it was amazing. The character had a lamp that throws fireballs at monsters, paralyzing them, it creates a big ball if you keep throwing more and you can push the ball to kill the rest.
