B, because the design is immediately clear, I saw the image before the description, and didn't actually recognize the A as a drum magazine design.

At the end of the day, I'd say the choice is up to the properties of the character: B looks like it's quick in curves, very mobile, quick but less impactful A definitely slower but with more impact, more like the heavy class of this design
