Damn, when working on 3D stuff, time is running so fast. Here a little loop-cut, there a little bridge-edge-loop.
Oh the bevel could be a bit rounder...oops.. 1.5 hours are over...

totally crazy, isn´t it? :D And now I have to work. The progress I made seems so little... like nothing. ;)

Hey, but the end result looks great! Very clean as well, so I'd say it's time well spent!

Ha, thanks man! Glad you think so! But still I have no idea, how to add little details, so easy doing in 2D, on my 3d mesh. Will find a solution hopefully.

I know that sculpting is usually pretty helpful for small ridges and parts of your model, but the issue is, it messes up your topology and you have to retropologize it. Bump mapping can also add subtle details as well, like I just added diamonds all across a character.

Yeah, I already thought, that bump-mapping could help. I´m still to newbie for all this and my time for testing is pretty limited. I will try
@scribbletoad `s approach next time if that doesn´t work, bump- and normalmapping could be a further approach.https://twitter.com/scribbletoad/status/1168265698298290181?s=20 …Marcel Hampel added,

the functionality of the "decal machine" addon for blender is basically exactly what I need for little things like intruded triangles etc. But I think, it should work without it as well.
