Yeah... my workflow is to us a black color layer with a mask. Then use lasso to create the line and cut it from the mask. Does that make sense? :D But yeah, it totally fits the mechas and my style on paper. :)

Thanks Petra... nah, just saw comic artists inking. And they do the same with thin ink pens. They draw their lines like they need it. :)
