I think you can use whatever 3D software you like as long as you get the output you want. I've been using blender since 2015, never needed to switch since then
I can´t really compare #b3d with other 3D Software in their current versions. I just notice sometimes , how handy several things are in blender and how easy you can get results. And then I think, THIS or THAT wasn´t possible in Cinema R12 or whatsoever version.
