Yes, alone are harmless. Context is everything. Calling someone a snowflake could be good or bad. "You are a gentle snowflake" "You are a fragile snowflake" Completely different tones. The context and tone that Crowder uses sparks homophobia in people.

Aside from the fact that you cannot speak of that for sure, here's something to chew on. Here's what the media did to a guy for a viral video. Now if Carlos, who called for violence, supported this, would you be so quick to defend him and demonize Crowder?

Yes, and you note that the media, and specifically the left, rushed to his defense. Meanwhile, THIS guy was NOT on the left, and people CELEBRATED him being doxxed. If Carlos came out and said he supported this, would you agree with it?

HECK NO. If Carlos said he supported any doxxing I would be disgusted. Yea, the media is biased. I agree with you. I think there is a big issue with that. Unfortunately, we have "the freedom of press" which protects them. I still think they should be regulated to only show news.

And yet Vox doesn't only show news. They interject their own politics into their videos. So if they can do that, why can't Crowder poke fun at them as he debunks them?

Nah, I am cool with Crowder making jokes about Carlos's content he creates. However, the name-calling is causing some harm to Carlos. Name-calling in general is a form of verbal abuse.

It's really not. And this is why I really dislike the idea that people are so willing to get offended by something as trivial— banal, really— as that. You know the old saying. Sticks and Stones may break your bones, but words will never hurt you. They're just words.

Back then they were just words. I agree with you. If you called me a "stupid Twitter idiot" I could take it. However, his words come with thousands of angry fans.
