    Almost in time for iOS 14.2....finally, at long last, here is my review of iOS 14 for mobile journalists and journalists more widely. (Clearly you're allowed to watch it if you're not a mojo let alone a "jo")

    I’ve been running down the battery on an iPhone 12 all day, just to see this alert and then test the new feature in iOS 15. Typically, it came up just before 5pm on a Friday. 🙄

    Another question for iOS 15 beta users, especially those in the UK. Is Visual LookUp - where you should be able to get information about a flower or building or book from a photo of it in your camera roll - working for you? It's not working for me. Is it USA-only?

    While you never want a distracting background which can take the audience’s attention away (“oh look - a stuffed donkey! Remember when we got one from Marbella…?”), this perhaps goes a little too far the other way?

    This is the worst ever bug in iOS 15. (I’ve used alt-text to describe it for the visually impaired; the rest of you will have to find it yourselves.)

    It’s a photo of app icons; below the Arsenal crest, it says “Tottenham hotspur”

    A special "hello" to the influx of new followers from UIC in Chicago. This is not the most exciting debut tweet to welcome you, but it sets the standard for the rest of them, to be honest. Just a heads up, I'll be spelling things "colour", "favour" and "free health care".

    I'm trying to get my head around why anyone would send a FaceTime web link via WhatsApp, encouraging someone to join a FaceTime call...when they could do a video or audio call on WhatsApp itself?

    iOS 15 will be available soon and here’s a fun bug. In the photos app (camera roll) iOS displays the name of 3rd party apps used. You can also search for the app’s name, to show all the material captured with it. iOS 15 says I both have and don’t have a video shot in .

    While writing my review of iOS 15 and the new features for mojo, I've found something (moderately) useful which is actually also available in iOS 14 and had escaped me entirely until now. This is in no way awkward and embarrassing.

    I'm writing my review about iOS 15 and what it means for journalists and after writing a sentence about the App Library, it's made me wonder how well-known or used this feature is. So, it's poll time. iPhone/iPad owners - how often do you use App Library?
