    Very proud to have helped build the awesome coalition “The bill’s passage would be the culmination of several years of activism by groups like NY Renews, a coalition of nearly 200 organizations, which repeatedly rallied in Albany and pushed policymakers to act.”

    “This is going to change the way every New Yorker lives.” The state will be required to get 70 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2030, and shift entirely to carbon-free power a decade later.

    NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed several aides, a highly anticipated report released by Attorney General Tish James’ office has found. The outside investigators hired by James’ office found that Cuomo created a “hostile work environment” “rife with fear and intimidation.”

    The old Line 3 is at the end of its life—rusted and dangerous—and should be shut down. The proposed new Line 3 promotes massive production of tar sand oil for another 50 years. This is a crime against the planet. It should never be built.

    . Your announcement today that you won't support the reconciliation bill is the worst kind of grandstanding. That bill is already a compromise, far short of what's really needed to address the climate crisis, child care and other pressing needs. Disgraceful.

    . know what our bipartisan infrastructure plan will mean for communities in Arizona and across the country. Upgrading roads, bridges, rail, water systems, power grids, and ports will grow our economy and create good-paying jobs.

    My homelands are burning. In smoke so thick it’s hard to see, Enbridge builds a new tar sands pipeline thru dry riverbeds and sucks out what water is left. When do we wake the fuck up? Will we yell ‘economy’ at a wall of fire? At a dead lake?

    Running out of ways to say this is evil and is getting people sick and killed. (Vaccines are not declining in their effectiveness very quickly, though they could if these people get their way and it keeps spreading and mutating!)

    The NYC election shows no such thing, ⁦⁩. Adams got less than a third of the vote and candidates advocating for shifting public safety from heavy police response to mental health and other services received more votes in aggregate.
