Replies remind me of Buddha's Parable of the Mustard Seed: "The life of mortals in this world is troubled and brief and combined with pain .... As ripe fruits are early in danger of falling, so mortals when born are always in danger of death." http://bit.ly/2k3roRT

And Buddha's wisdom (As ripe fruits are early in danger of falling, so mortals when born are always in danger of death) always reminds me of Jesus in John 12:24: "Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.”

Just had a dream with my late father yesterday. It was so vivid and, for once, I heard his voice again — an indescribable comfort. I did go back to sleep, but the dream, alas, did not continue.

You won’t forget them, but you’ll likely keep moving to a more postive place. I haven’t lost a spouse, but it took me *at least* two years to really move past the death of my parents. It’s selfish, but I hope I live a long life and still die before my spouse and children.

Yes. This happens w my dad and my first dog and I'm always sad when I wake up. Still, not as bad a wake up as that time I dreamed I won Powerball. THAT was a shitty morning.
