Oops. I rewrote the tweet a few times and left off the word “initially”. I should have said “he initially couldn’t vote today”. I know it makes it clear in the text of the attached letter but there’s no edit function and some might get the wrong impression
This policy of not allowing ex-felons to vote has got to be changed. There's absolutely NO logical reason they shouldn't vote. Except maybe if white politicians are trying to disable people of colors rights. White people lock up a lot more POC than whites AND THEY KNOW IT!!!
