The group of approx. 25 temporarily occupied an intersection in an act of civil disobedience in a demand for the abolition of police.

Yep. He'll be getting a visit from the police with an arrest warrant for vehicular assault (or whatever equivalent Porland law has), and likely tomorrow. Hope he can afford a good lawyer, cause he's gonna need one.

Yes it is. And has been a normal practice for protest movements both left and right for all of this countries history.
It is also how the country was founded and how most major political changes throughout history have happened.
