okay Twitter, help me with your fat loss tips I have had a small 'spare tire' of subcutaneous fat around my hips since I was a child and it seems that, however good my diet and exercise are, it seems pretty stubborn how do i blast this belly fat?

Controversial, but have you tried accepting it? Not forcing your body into a particular shape or aesthetic it doesn’t want to be? Sounds like you’re already exercising every day and eating reasonably well. Whatever shape your body takes in that pattern is probably the right one.

I don't plan to force anything, I just would like to have more understanding of why it's been there my whole life and whether it's more under my control than I realise I accept my body fully, but that doesn't mean I'm not also trying to build muscle mass, for example

Fair enough. Of all people, I wouldn't expect you to pursue anything you haven't reflected on. Poster boy for acceptance and self-awareness ;) Probably just a matter of weighing costs/benefits of ditching it if it requires questionable crash dieting and/or excessive sacrifice.

"Accepting" = deciding a small part of your body not being the way you want it to be isn't worth spending of a large amount of headspace, time, and effort trying to change. Redirecting your attention to more interesting concerns
