Presume you're in the Bumrungrad? To be fair, it's their whole M.O. Hospital-as-luxury-venue. An exception and not the rule.

Western FUD. Public hospitals in Bangkok are not bad either and generally better service than I get in Europe.

Never said the public ones were bad. They’re not at all. I grew up in SE Asia. Just that presenting a pic of the most luxurious hospital in SE Asia (perhaps except Gleneagles in SG) as an example of all of them is a tad misleading 🙃
