One process I still can’t do well in available software is structuring talks & essays. Requires a spatial canvas that handles text well. Always still happens in a notebook, or a giant sheet of paper. Miro is decent, but unconnected to existing notes in Roam, links to refs, etc.

Ah I’ll be saying more about it at the TFT Rocks meet-up on Thursday. TLDR: the current community narrative around TFT is hyper-focused on computational objects (eg. Specific apps and interface patterns), but really all our TFTs are pre- or non-computational cultural practices

Sounds like we’re on the exact same wavelength; computational spaces/situations/sites are more appropriate framings of HCI as a shared context between person-machine they collaborate in. Rather than “human with physical tool”
