Being able to run tiny programmatic scripts within my notes has changed the way I write and think far more than any other interface features.
Noticed we're seeing more platforms that make 'programmable notes' possible. Wrote a short essay on the pattern:

I've been using 's Tinderbox eastgate.com/Tinderbox/ for decades, it is very deep, has the best support imaginable, offers a trail mode, and the community has weekly meetups

Oh interesting - hadn’t come across this one before but definitely taking a closer look.
Looks like it might have schemas and types? That’s another feature I’ve rarely seen implemented in note taking tools that would open up way more doors for programmatic scripts
