It's a playful half-formed thought. I'm inspired by how Leibniz defined monads, not just as the most basic elements of knowledge, but as elements engaged in interrelation. A monad doesn't have a single static definition, rather each monad provides a definition for all others.

I'm intrigued by the idea of a design system premised on this kind of dynamic interrelation, where static definition is replaced by holistic and systemic emergence. Not totally sure what that looks like yet though :P
