Ooh I like F now - that little space gives it slightly less visual weight
Maybe the circle around the outside should stay black for incomplete items rather than matching the color? Do we dare color the tags and match the task color? Is this too much?

I also like F, and if the colors to the tags had significance then maybe, but otherwise just changing the bubble color to match tag color is indeed too much in my humble opinion. Keeping the blue bubbles look great.
