BP blocks can do more than WCs can. More on it here: github.com/blockprotocol/ You can build a block using WC though - they are one way to implement a block. Here's WC in the spec: blockprotocol.org/spec/implement We're leaning into WC as the default implementation based on feedback 👍

I think this suffers from trying to be everything to everyone & yet also being fairly React centric. If I had to guess you'll end up with WebComponents + a Restful Entity Crud Api + MetaData.json The documentation seems to be more hype than anything, I found it very hard reading
