Two quick ones jump to mind:
Searching extended network. I love 'search within your follows', but also want 1+ layer. Who the people I follow follow
Ability to unfollow a user from the random user feed. Easier to amass follows than remove them. Good prompting moment to do so
All other suggestions encroach into "fundamentally change the paradigm of how twitter works" 😅

Searching follows^2 would be awesome. Unfortunately probably impossible to build from the outside...
I've found /follows surprisingly useful mysefl, sort of a personal search engine or something
