Moore's Law is missing, which seems like _the_ eponymous law, so maybe I'm missing something about more weighty social context

Maybe none of these come from the _programming_ tradition exactly, though I feel like Amdahl's Law comes up a lot.

Moore's law indeed felt a bit obvious to include. Was going for the weird and offbeat ones from programming land :D
