So many different networked note taking apps. Anyone innovating in terms of hierarchies, semantics of linking, embedding, metadata? Backlinks with context was an important innovation which is pretty much universal, but attributes - which are so promising in the Roam whitepaper...

how will blockprotocol.org/hub be very different from Microsoft's fluidframework.com in loop? conceptually it seems similar to IMO

Conceptually it's along the same lines as Fluid / Loop, but not tied to the Microsoft ecosystem
Just checked out Block protocol, super interesting project!
I don't believe Fluid is tied to the Microsoft ecosystem, although it's a major dependency of Loops (which is *definitely* part of the Microsoft ecosystem)
Is Block Protocol designed with collab in mind?

Hey, Sam! Very much so. We're still working through the DX around that side of things, but Fluid is definitely on our radar to watch!
Our current example embedding application includes an OT approach to collab based on ProseMirror.
