Despite popularising the horticultural metaphor of Seedling > Budding > Evergreen ratings on digital garden notes, I wish there were other varieties out there.
Baking and carpentry metaphors would work just as well. Notes could be raw, half-baked, or roasted.

I often think about a cooking metaphor as a complement to the horticultural one that lends itself to alchemy: Cultivated Ingredients, Wild Ingredients, Sauces/Pastes, Dishes, Menus, Banquets.
Admittedly, this is a half-baked metaphor 😅

I've sent several folks to this page for learning about digital gardening: maggieappleton.com/garden-history
Adding a note about using other naming metaphors might actually encourage some folks to branch out.
The garden/plant growth metaphor is pretty strong/easy to grasp tho

I took the blacksmithing approach, and went from Ores -> Alloys -> Weapons, and questions as Gunpowder
There are more terms coming in but none of them are ready yet (technically...they should be up regardless of progress 😅)
