Every interaction I have with the UK government (taxes, passports, NHS, voting) is exceptionally well designed, accessible, and usable. Itโs shocking.
Especially as a dual citizen who is subjected to the polar opposite dealing with the US equivalent.

Can you give examples? I'm curious as an American citizen to know what we are missing ๐

Oh so many! Browse around gov.uk and youโll get a sense. Itโs a one-stop-shop for info and very simple step-step guides to do anything you need to do citizen-wise (apply for permits, pay your taxes, apply for benefits, get a drivers lose credit, etc.)
Also the official NHS app is pretty spectacular. You have access to all your medical info in one spot (including Covid vaccine status!), even if you switch GPs or have doctors spread across various hospitals

Oh wow. This alone is something that would NEVER happen in the states without some massive changes ๐คฏ
