- My perspective is that, any lisp dialect is by themselves a visual programming tool/environment - The common one is Clojure and Racket. - But there are different scheme and common lisp implementations.

It must be VPL’s cyclical hibernation patterns. Emerges every 8 months and compels individuals to summarise the state of affairs, and try to figure out why it’s not “more of a thing". Good survival instincts.

Yes, reading all of Bret’s work was my gateway into exploring HCI and VPLs many years ago. He’s a wonderful starting point that gets a lot of folks interested in the topic 👍
