Lots of people ask me how they can start digital gardening when they're not a programmer, or don’t consider themselves especially “techy”
Here’s an overdue guide on how to set up a garden without getting into the weeds of Github or the command line.

If you’re seeing some of the screenshots duplicated on the page, it’s a Gatsby bug I’ve been trying to troubleshoot for a while but can’t figure out.
If you nav to the homepage, then back to the post it fixes it.
Any Gatsby experts have clues to why? 🙏

Cool post! You may have already noticed this, but in case you missed it the first image in the section "Gardening with Obsidian" is using a picture of Notion

Not meant to nitpick, but I think images used for obsidian and roam section are actually notion screenshots.

Ah sorry, that’s a weird Gatsby bug I’ve been trying to troubleshoot for ages. If you navigate directly to the page, some of the images incorrectly duplicate.
Navigating to the homepage, then going back to the article from threre will fix it. No clue why ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yup, definitely still Roam. Unlikely to switch anytime soon - on the believer plan ;)

Hey Maggie, thanks for mentioning roam.garden 🙂. Would really appreciate you sharing more detailed feedback about it (here or in DM)!
What would make it feel less "beta", what are the key things you think can be improved?
