Agree it has potential, but I haven't been able to use it
My list of base requirements is demanding ๐
- pressure sensitivity mapped to stoke size and opacity
- quick draw shapes (square, circle, arrow)

We then might also have to solve the tragic situation that most of us can't draw directly on our laptop screens, and would have to all go get egregiously expensive secondary devices like iPad pros to make it widely useable.
"Modern" HCI systems are genuinely depressing
there could be middle terms no? for regular folks procreate would too much of a learning curve , not even vector based #justSaying

Agreed โ definitely a simplified version of procreate.
There's no need for layers with 20 blending modes and clipping masks.
Thinking on the level of what pencil & paper affords us, not a full blown set of oil paints.

I find a trackpad and mouse sufficient for thumb nailing sequences like this but I know what you mean.
For me, i was just in awe of the ability to have my textual exploration emerge alongside my drawn exploration and the back and forth they were able to have on each other

I think Iโd Roam had a way of conditional pressure sensitivity, thatโd be interesting and would allow for the drawing feature to work on all non tablet style drawing devices for scrawling notes but would โopenโ up the possibility of information captured in nuanced line work
