We're also planning a new cohort of the Meta Course (Hyperlink's course-development workshop) for mid-January
Want to join & create a course? Maybe something interactive, project-based, experimental, exploring a fun internet nicheβ¦

Love all the new course announcements and would love to go through the meta course.
But the majority of them are all scheduled for 1am UK time βΉοΈ
Assume you're trying to time them for US post-work hours, but cuts out the whole European & African continent from joining.

Any chance of some courses being moved 2-3 hours earlier? Even a shift to 2pm PST / 5pm EST / 10pm GMT would make them more accessible for a huge number of us folks across the pond.

Hey Maggie! First off, thanks, glad you're digging the new batch of courses!
This is a great point, and something we'll def think about more. To start, we just moved this next cohort of the Meta Course earlier (3pm EST / 8pm UTC), hope you can make it!

For other courses, we've left it up to each facilitator, and I think most being in the US = mostly evenings US time
But we should think more about the balance & consider ways to encourage a) wider spread of time options, and b) ways to put more emphasis on async interactions

Thanks so much for the meta course move! Definitely joining in now ;)
Makes sense facilitators get to set their own times. Some of the courses are so tempting I'm just debating shifting my sleep schedule for a few months π

Fantastic, sent you an invite so you should be able to enroll in the Meta Course! (if you don't see it plz DM)
Can't publicly endorse swapping π€ for π§βπ but very much understand the impulse π
