Been meaning to extend my digital bookshelf for a while.
Finally got around to adding an anti-library β a collection of books I haven't read, but like the idea of having read: maggieappleton.com/antilibrary
Credit to for championing the concept on antilibrari.es

I love this. Iβve been thinking about trying to be more deliberate for what Iβm gonna read in the coming year and have a βReading Road Mapβ to keep myself accountable.

Awesome, great stuff here! And thx for the antilibraries shout :)
I'm planning to do some salons soon on antilibrary curation / personal librarianship / future of readingβ¦working on a course diving further into these topics as well

Ahaha you're the OG Venkat (original gardener, honorary title alongside elderblogger). Avant-gardeners just out here trying to indoctrinate the next generation. Big fan of "respectable dent" π

Can highly recommend also tagging them with their topics, for ease of future access!

@RoamResearch is a fantastic tool for getting full value out of an antilibrary. @nntaleb, if you haven't already tried Roam out, you should give it a look!

People Without History and Global Magic sound awesome. Both are going on the to-read pile!

I love the phrasing here of "the idea of having read" vs just "want to read"
Strongly resonates. There are so many books; one can never read them all. But getting enjoyment from just the idea of having read them is fantastic.
