Dreamt that added drag & drop, re-sizeable, re-arrangeable images into the block system.
My dreammind really needs to break out of this #roamcult rut...
Would be a great thinking tool though. Arranging information in full 2D space rather than linear thinking

Looks nice!
PS: I really love the font family for the schemas

Her own, see the themes page in the help Roam!
I like it as well (but would love a dark variant ๐)

I'm working on an app that kinda does this! I'm at the point of documents on a canvas that can be dragged around.
There's a demo at polished.app/demo
The entire goal is to be able to organize information in 2d space.

The featured you mentioned are on the roadmap. Trying to build a really great rich text editor on the canvas first.

Yes! Right now images in Roam is a big fail. At least we could get the ability to click/open images in full size. Ping

If it could do everything you listed plus self adjusting so it doesn't cut pics off that would be a dream. Most of my playing around w roam is trying to see images side by side. It would replace most of my other apps at that pt. Agreed 100% would make great thinking tool

This would be wonderful! On a related note, do you have any write-up anywhere on your method behind what block elements you nest vs leave too-level on a page? Curious about how youโre approaching that.

Crap, that was โtop-levelโ

Its intresting that you mention this. A lot of the 2D vs linear argument is mentioned on the research behind semilattice

Tried to google it: "a join-semilattice is a partially ordered set that has a join for any nonempty finite subset. Dually, a meet-semilattice is a partially ordered set which has a meet for any nonempty finite subset"
No clue what that says ๐
