Lovely, Maggie! One thing that really strikes me is how much more succinct and crisp you can be in explaining these ideas in the context of these illustrations. The concept-oriented notion, in particular, takes a lot of words to get across normally.

Agreed! Wish the affordances of note-taking apps were more designed for visual mediums. Image embedding is always awkward. You have to switch between contexts to adjust and edit. I keep them separated by sad necessity.

Agree with this! I still doodle in notebooks to help me figure things out and haven't seen an app come close to notebook/paper.
