Nice illustrations and metaphor 👌. I have been using this concept for digital note taking and organization. Lately I have seen a few tools/ implementations coming up based on similar concept.

This is beautiful and a great explainer, it’ll be a go-to to share with people for sure. As I’ve started embracing evergreen notes more, I’ve realized the massive importance of note titles as APIs. I would love a visualization on that as well!

Ah you’re in luck - there’s a fourth illustration that wouldn’t fit on the original tweet but is on the garden post.
I love the API comparison too, but changed the wording slightly to make it legible to non-programmer minds :)
